About the Role:
We are seeking a data-driven Inventory and Procurement Analyst to join our laboratory services team. You will play a key role in optimising our supply chain by analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive insights into supply chain performance through data analysis
- Identify and implement procurement process improvements
- Provide routine and ad hoc information to support management decisions
- Forecast supply and demand
- Maintain product master data
- Raise and track purchase orders
- Receipt deliveries and update ERP system
- Analyse supplier portfolios and negotiate pricing
- Monitor product price changes
- Coordinate product sourcing and supplier approval
- Work with lab support to monitor standing orders
- Identify aged and obsolete stock
- Assist with inventory audits
- Create and update reports
- Produce and monitor inventory metrics
- Undertake root cause and trend analysis
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in stock management, diagnostics products desirable
- Proven analytical skills
- Extensive experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field
- Strong data interpretation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
