Are you an experienced and reliable Truck Driver with a passion for delivering goods safely and efficiently? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills as part of our transportation team.
- Be responsible for safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations
- Engage in customer service and handle physical demands of the job
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time
Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver with us, you will:
- Conduct walk round checks on the vehicle
- Secure loads and navigate to customer sites
- Assist customers with offloading goods using a Moffett Forklift
- Communicate with the manager throughout the day for updates
- Ensure safe driving and health and safety measures are taken
Preferred Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Valid Class 2 Lorry Drivers License, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, and good knowledge of Tacho Management
- Strong communication skills and physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum one year experience with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
